The Villa is a magnificent Thai-Balinese 7-bedroom villa tucked on the beautiful mountainside of Kalim Bay. The villa is only 5 minutes away from downtown Patong, yet completely private and quiet with its sea view to the front side and forested mountains to the rear side.
The villa was built in 2010 and is located on 2400 sqm (1.5 rai) of flat, hillside land and offers 850 sqm of indoor living area spread over 7 interconnected buildings.
Villa Thai Sawan consists of 6 rooms that are well furnished and have their own ensuite bathrooms. The villa has an additional 1-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, bathroom and living room area, providing additional space, privacy and convenience for large groups of friends and families.
Entrance
Guests enter the property through a large electric gate and into the parking area that can accommodate up to 4 cars, several motorbikes and bicycles. A 15 meter covered walkway surrounded by water fountains leads to the hand crafted Balinese entranceway and into the villa's main building.
The main building
In the main building, guests can find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table crafted from a huge solid piece of wood, a breakfast counter, a living room with cable television, DVD player and sound system and a nicely decorated convenient washroom. The main building has two bedrooms on the second floor.
Outdoor area and pool
From the main building, guests can step outside onto a large covered terrace area with another dining table and a sofa lounging area offering exquisite views of the pool, the sea and the sunset. From here, guests can walk down to the pool and its surrounding lounging chairs and sun beds, or they can follow the covered walkways leading to the south and north wings of the villa.
The south wing
To the left, guests will find a walkway that leads to the villa's furnished 1-bedroom apartment and to a gym fully equipped with a treadmill, step climber, free weights and multi station weight machine. There is also a dry sauna, a steam room and a washroom located in the gym room. Moving on, guests will find two other guest bedrooms and an air-conditioned massage room perched on the second floor of a sala, completely surrounded by windows and thereby offering unobstructed views of the ocean and the mountains.
The north wing
To the right, guests will find an office equipped with a large wooden desk and office chair, two single armchairs, and office supplies such as a printer/scanner/fax, paper, pencils and books. Further to the right, there are two additional bedrooms - one of which has a kitchenette - and large open air lounging area located on a second floor of a sala offering the best sea and sunset views. This is the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine or celebrate with a bottle of champagne!
